It bothers me when I hear that queerness isn’t natural. I see so many examples of it on the farm every day. Animals showing love in many ways.
I was raised a Christian. When I was younger, I believed in “love the sinner, hate the sin” with homosexuality. It took a while, but the more I thought about, the less that made sense to me. Love is love, right? Wouldn’t God want more love in the world?
Before you say “Doesn’t the bible say man should not lie with man?” Now it might, but in other languages it translated to said “Man shall not lie with young boys as he does with woman.” That makes way more sense to me. You can do your own research there, here is what I found.
Just remember, it’s ok to change your mind! Know better and do better.
God created so many interesting creatures. I suggest you look up other examples of queerness in the animal kingdom. Eliot Schrefer wrote a book called Queer Ducks, I haven’t read it yet, but it’s on my list.
